Land Plane

Think of this as a new generation box blade that is easier to use and produces a better finish and can be used in dirt or gravel. A large part of why this is so easy to use is the longer frame that is gliding on the ground as opposed to a box blade. This cause the land plane to ride more evenly and "plane" out any high spots and deposit material in the low spots. With its two cutter bars, it will still carry nearly as much material as a box blade to have plenty of capacity to fill those low spots. Also, since the blades are low, when the plane does fill up, the material is able to roll over the top and out the back which is very effective at rejuvenating a compacted gravel surface. And the big secret? If your tractor has an adjustable height lift arm, you can pull this plane at an angle and put that crown back in your driveway.
